Recently in town, new yoga classes have started up, and just the way my mum is, she wanted to try it. Personally, I’ve never looked into yoga, and I’ve never been interested in doing yoga; however Mum signed us both up for last nights class, and to be honest… I loved it!
It was a beginners class (thank goodness), so the stretches and positions were narrowed down to be quite basic, yet still something I’ve never practiced before. I honestly had no idea that yoga could be so beneficial. In all honesty, I felt brand new after my class. There was something about the exercises we practice that made my whole body relax, and at the same time stretch (I never knew stretching could be such a pleasure).
The room was done up Balinese style with dim lights and soft music, so automatically the room had a relaxing vibe. There were nine of us ladies, and most of us had never done yoga before, so at times we would all have a little giggle about our beginner techniques. There was no embarrassment or shame to hide and we all gave everything a go, which made the class even more enjoyable.
